On May 5, 2020, a major conference on “Ho Chi Minh City’s Economic Recovery and Development” was held at the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee headquarters. The conference was attended by top leaders of the City Party Committee, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, central government officials, leaders of city departments and agencies, economic experts, and representatives from prominent businesses in the city. A total of 24 presentations were delivered, offering solutions for the city’s economic recovery and development in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
