Mr. Dinh Hong Ky was appointed Chairman of the Council for Implementing Ho Chi Minh City’s Construction Waste Recycling Project.
Following the directive of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee regarding the development of a construction waste recycling project for the city, the Ho Chi Minh City Construction and Building Materials Association has officially established a Project Implementation Council consisting of 12 members, including experts, scientists, business leaders, and representatives from organizations within the construction industry.

Đinh Hồng Kỳ, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Construction and Building Materials Association and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Secoin, has been entrusted with the role of Chairman of the Council. Joining the Council are many leading experts in the fields of construction, building materials, sustainable development, and the circular economy.
The Council is responsible for providing consultation, conducting research, and proposing solutions related to technology, policy mechanisms, and implementation models aimed at promoting the recycling and reuse of construction waste in line with Ho Chi Minh City’s sustainable development and circular economy orientation.
The establishment of the Council marks an important step toward realizing the goal of transforming Ho Chi Minh City into a green and sustainable urban area, while also helping to reduce pressure on natural resources and the urban environment.
As part of the program, on June 5, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City Construction and Building Materials Association will organize a seminar on the implementation of the Ho Chi Minh City Construction Waste Recycling Project for the 2026–2030 period, with a vision toward 2045. The seminar aims to gather input from regulatory agencies, experts, businesses, and related stakeholders in order to finalize the project proposal before submitting it to the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee for review.
The project is expected to lay the foundation for the development of a modern construction waste recycling ecosystem, promote the circular economy, and contribute to Ho Chi Minh City’s sustainable development goals in the decades ahead.
