More than 1 day and 1 night in Bangkok but clearly feel the consequences caused by the political crisis here. In the middle of the city, I saw many buildings and shops burned black and in disrepair.
In the shopping malls, there were few shoppers, many stalls closed from 6:30 pm.
Coming to the Architect’14 fair, I saw that the scale was not as large as I knew. They said that this year the number of stalls had decreased sharply compared to last year. When meeting partners, everyone complained about political instability and economic crisis. They said that this year’s sales were not half of last year’s.
However, there are still smiles in Bangkok. Smiles from gentle, friendly and sincere eyes. Asking for directions, the saleswoman still left her shop to show the way. Asking taxi drivers, policemen, enthusiastic rickshaw pullers to show the way,…
Above all the difficulties, Bangkok still has KINDNESS. Something that is becoming increasingly scarce in Vietnam.
Surely the Thai people will quickly overcome the crisis because first of all of their KINDNESS.
